It appears the Iron Chefs of the State Fair have come up with it again – Fried Coke. You can read the full article from the Charlotte Observer below but what is this world coming to? In the words of my friend Megan (whom also shared this article with me) – “a heart attack.”

megan: i mean, i’m kinda curious to try it
megan: aren’t you ?
me: hah!
me: maybe
megan: i heart coke, and i sure heart anything fried
megan: it’s like the south iconified
me: but you don’t heart your heart huh?
megan: hahah, yeah i do. i guess i could split an order
me: maybe if it were fried sweet tea . . .
megan: ahhh, nice!
megan: or sundrop
megan: i’m sure next year . . .
me: oooo
me: cheerwine
megan: hot dog
megan: next time i make funnel cakes, i’m so doing it
