Father’s Day 2007
Friday afternoon Karoline and I headed to Denver to see my dad for Father’s day. This was Karoline’s first trip to Denver with me and while she’s already met the family it was a good chance for her to see my old stompin’ grounds. I was able to show her where I went to school and all the different spots around the area that are important parts of my heritage.
We made it into town in time to have dinner with my parents on Friday evening and then enjoy a relaxing remainder of the evening on the couch. My brother and sister-in-law (really weird to type that) came home on Saturday afternoon and my brother and I shot air rifles with the girls. I really wish I would’ve snagged a photo of Karoline shooting my Red Rider BB Gun! I did get Lindsy to snap a really good photo of Karoline and me that afternoon.
Saturday evening some of the extended family came into town. Here’s a good shot of the family hanging out on the back porch while my dad opened up his present from my brother and me. We got him a nice set of speakers for their computer. He was listening to speakers that came with our original Packard Bell computer in 1995. Needless to say he now loves the bass produced by the sub woofer.
In addition to his present from us, my mom surprised him with his Father’s Day & Birthday present on Saturday.
He’s been saying that while she goes and walks, he could ride a bike if he had one. Well, she fixed that problem! She got my dad a really cool and rugged bike. I’m waiting for him to take it off some sweet jumps!
Karoline and I had to drive back on Saturday night because I had to be at church at 6:15am on Sunday morning in order to run sound. It was a good time with the family and I’m already looking forward to the next time I get to see them!

It is very nice to see pictures of the family. Your family really meant alot to you. I love remembering the old times to and from South Fork Fish Camp. I Love You.
