Rescue Filming

Last weekend I had the awesome opportunity to work with some very talented folks from my church on filming for this year’s Christmas program, Lost in the Mountains Rescue. Last Saturday we rented out one of the SAS studios for 10 hrs and setup and filmed non-stop for most of the day.

We then continued the round of excitement by visiting New Hope Fire Station in Wendell, NC (just north of Raleigh) where one of our tech team guys, Phil, is a fire fighter. He and some of his boys pulled out some fire trucks, suited up and let us film to add even more realism to our shoot. Not to mention the fact that Phil fed us before we got to filming;-).

My only regret is not getting in on this last photo but someone had to take the picture, right? Maybe some creative Photoshop work can be employed . . .

thought i should tell you that the name of the christmas program is “rescue” not “lost in the mountains” :)

i’m sure you’ll want to give accurate information!

I had a terrific time working with everyone on all the shoots. This is going to be an incredible show that should help spread the gospel in a very real way to lots of people. I’m still praying that God will be glorified through it all and that He will continue to equip up with everything we need to see it through.
