I walk past this fire hydrant every day as I walk to and from my office on NC State’s campus. Finally, a day of pretty weather presented itself so I carried my camera with me and snagged this shot. Below you’ll see a black and white version with the hydrant masked out – just thought it might be fun.
June 1, 2009 - 3:45 pm - Fun! What software did you use? PhotoshopExpress(.com) has a cool effect like this, but it would have turned the other hydrant as well...
June 2, 2009 - 9:22 am - I used Photoshop CS4 to mask out just the front hydrant and very meticulously masked all the grass around the base (pain in the butt)!
